Heidi Vogel + Antonio Marzinotto Trio – Live at Nomad

We’re delighted to bring the wonderful voice of Heidi Vogel together with the musical finesse of the Antonio Marzinotto Trio, Live at Nomad Jazz Venue.

The recent release of her latest album ‘Turn up the Quiet’ features a collection of 60s and 70s Brazilian songs sung in her close and intimate style with a deep vocal power that draws the listener in.

Heidi has received a great deal of acclaim for her recent album:

She’s got an extraordinary voice. It’s not easy to sing a song with that slow tempo and keep the interest suspended like that she’s got an incredible range to her voice and such a texture to it as well. You’ll really enjoy the album, it comes out on the 4th of March, keep an eye out for Heidi Vogel” – Jamie Cullum (BBC Radio 2)

“…it is an approach that intensifies masterworks by Jobum, Vinicius de Moraes, Gilberto Gil and Ivan Lins, better than any interpreter since Elis Regina. Vogel captures an intimacy that is less romantic than conspiratorial – whispered secrets and shared confidences rather than pillow talk.” – Jazz Times ****

From her towering opening performance, Heidi Vogel says everything in the right key…. Vogel’s voice is an extraordinarily rich and complex instrument, one that you can easily fall in love with…” – Jazzwise Magazine ****

Classic and traditionally beautiful!” – Osunlade (Yoruba Records)

Amazing as usual!” – King Britt

Definitely into this“ – Benji B on IG’s remix (BBC RADIO 1)

In love with the album! Gorgeous tunes from Heidi Vogel ” – Jeremy Sole (KCRW 89.9FM, LA)

Super nice album! Really great to hear Heidi acoustically stripped down like this.” – Marc Mac (4Hero).

Performing “Breathe” & a part of “All that you are”, with Cinematic Orchestra on eth Jimmy Kimmel show, US.
